science - hurumanu 3

Mixing and Separating (Week 7)

Aim: To seperate the colours and the pigment.

hypophysis: I think that the colour will spread around the filter paper.
1 Experiment result: The colour spread all around the paper, and it adds two more colour blue and black the main colour is purple.
2 Experiment result: The second experiment has a lot of colour it has Blue, Yellow, Purple, Brown, Pink and Gray the main clour is black I think that black colour has a lot of colour because of the things that made of.

method
  • 1- Draw a line across the filter paper in pencil, 5cm from the bottom.
  • 2- Draw a coloured dot in the centre of the line.
  • 3- Measure out 10mL of water and place in the test tube.
  • 4- Place the filter paper in the test tube and fold over the side. MAKE SURE THE PENCIL LINE IS NOT IN THE WATER.
  • 5- Wait for 5minutes and observe the results
Equipment
  • Felt tip pen, filter paper strips, test tube, measuring cylinder, pencil.

Conclusion: today I learnt how to mixing and spreading works, It was amazing to experiment.

Rats/Mice - Hurumanu 3

Rats/Mice
Where is this Rat temple?
In northern India

Why is this happening?
They believe in an ancient god and represents a rat,
They think that when a person dies it becomes a rat.

What special treatment does the rat get?
They feed the rat with there hand and own food,
Thay said if they don’t take care of the rat the god will be mad at them.

Today in chaos I have to choose one of the tasks we need to do and this is what I pick, I have to watch the video in order to answer the question that asks.
