Music Though Time

Today I'm going to talk about the hidden slave songs. during 15 hundred to 18hundred, and how did they get free from slavery.

A long time ago, when Africa was not in slavery yet. it was a peaceful country where people have fun and happy with their families. but one day people from a different country with big ships went to Africa to capture Africans. but there is a problem the ship is a bit but there are a lot of people in the ships and some people didn't make it to America. and but sometimes they let the Africans to the top deck and all Africans sing and make their own beat. they talk about what they did to them and sometimes they plan what to do in order to make the ship turn around. so singing is their only choice to plan things. But some people are being thrown into the ocean because they died during the shipment. when Africans arrived in America they were being sold and being a slave of other people. Americans buying them and burning their skin to mark them as a slave.

Who is Harriet Tubman?
Harriet Tubman is a woman who saved thousands of people from slavery. she created an underground trail where it takes them away from slavery. she was a hero of America for getting the people from the part of the country where people were taken, then she took them away from there.
Wade in the water
Wade in the water
Children wade, in the water
God's gonna trouble the water
Who's that young girl dressed in red
Wade in the water
Must be the children that Moses led
God's gonna trouble the water
Wade in the water, wade in the water children
Wade in the water,
God's gonna trouble the water
Who's that young girl dressed in white
Wade in the water
Must be the children of the Israelite
Oh, God's gonna trouble the water
Wade in the water, wade in the water children
Wade in the water,
God's gonna trouble the water
Who's that young girl dressed in blue
Wade in the water
Must be the children that's coming through,
God's gonna trouble the water, yeah
Wade in the water, wade in the water children
Wade in the water,
God's gonna trouble the water
You don't believe I've been redeemed,
Wade in the water
Just so the whole lake goes looking for me
God's gonna trouble the water
Wade in the water, wade in the water children
Wade in the water,
God's gonna trouble the water
