Aim: To get the DNA of the kiwi fruit.
Method:
- Mush half a kiwi fruit in a ziplock bag with a splash f water and a small teaspoon of salt.
- Strain the solution through a cloth into a beaker.
- Add a squirt of dishwashing liquid and stir.
- Pour into the test tube.
- Place the test tube in a beaker filled with WARM water.
- Slowly pour 5mL of methylated spirits down the side of the test tube.

Discussion: Where did the DNA come from? the DNA came from the kiwi fruit we waited a few minutes to settle the mixture of salt and the much kiwi fruit. after 1o minutes we added the 5mL of methylated spirits and wait for the reaction to happen we slowly can see the type of slime kind and that is the DNA of the kiwi Fruit.
Conclusion: this actually works, I get to learn the DNA of the kiwi fruit. I've also known that DNA is in layer and layer before you can actually see the DNA properly. DNA is inside the nucleus.
