Aim: To see which chemical
mix creates the most gas.
Hypothesis: (What do I think will happen)
I will happen is going to blow the soda and the vinegar and the salt and water is not going to work.
Materials:
- 2 balloon
- 2 water bottle
- baking soda
- water
- salt
- vinegar
- plastic spoon
- lemonade
- classic soda
Steps:
- fill the bottle a vinegar in the bottom
- then put baking soda on the balloon
- then add the baking soda and the vinegar together
- then do the same to the lemonade
Findings:I found out the vinegar was bigger that I though
the lemonade did hardly work, but it did not make the balloon expend.
Balloon 1
( 3 tsp baking soda, ½ cup vinegar)
|
Balloon 2
( 3 tsp salt, ½ cup soda)
| ||
Balloon Size (cm)
| 20.1cm | 0.2cm | |
Bubbles
(small, medium, large) | large | small |
Conclusion: I learn how different liquid has a different reaction to it, the first balloon have vinegar and baking soda, I learn a lot about different kind of liquid.
